Compared to some gray cast iron KTH rope clips, the wire rope clips (national standard forged) undergo destructive heavy pressure tests, where the clip base undergoes plastic deformation without breaking.

2. The lay direction of wire ropes is also divided into right-hand and left-hand, so the rope surface should match the lay direction of the rope groove surface of the clip base to increase friction and extend the rope's service life. Therefore, wire rope clips should also be divided into left and right clips and should not be mixed. Applicable wire rope diameter range is 6-60mm. For wire ropes with special structures such as 8-strand or triangular strand, consult the supplier before placing an order.

3. When purchasing wire rope clips, inspect the dimensions of the U-bolt.

① The dimensions of the U-bolt should comply with standards. If the opening is too large, the rope strands may misalign; if the opening is too small, it may affect the clamping force.

② The external thread diameter should meet the requirements of GB/T197-2003. Excessive clearance between the thread and the nut can result in insufficient gripping force, and if corroded, it may cause the nut to slip off. This should also be given special attention.

4. Correct arrangement method for wire rope clips: The arrangement of clips should comply with standard regulations, with the distance between clips being 6-7 times the rope diameter (this is the arrangement method in a natural state). For special connection situations such as thimbles, wedge sockets, splices, etc., used in combination, the rationality of the arrangement and the overall system factor should be considered.
